Investigation Services & Membership Pricing

Every membership starts
with a free analysis.
You decide what happens next.

We never ask you to commit to a service before you know what we found. Upload your documents, get your free summary, and choose the level of support that matches your situation, whether that is a self-service toolkit, a one-time expert review, or a dedicated investigator working your case until it is resolved.

The institution fighting you has a compliance department, outside counsel, and decades of experience processing consumers out of their claims. You deserve a team on your side of the table.
🔍
We find what you cannot see
Chain of title defects, missed response deadlines, charges the contract does not allow: these are documented in your own paperwork. Most consumers never know to look. We do.
📑
We build what holds up
A consumer complaint is a narrative. A Serv Inc. investigation is a structured evidentiary record: formal notices, signed affidavits, documented timelines. That difference is the difference between being heard and being proven right.
⚖️
We keep it moving
Notices sent, deadlines tracked, responses answered, and findings routed to the regulators responsible.

Commit to resolution.
Save on the path to get there.

Most investigations take 3–12 months to reach resolution. The longer options are priced to reward that commitment, and to make sure you are never paying month-to-month while waiting on your case to move.

We only take a share when there is something to share.

Full Service membership covers the investigation itself: the case manager, the drafting, the filings, the coordination. When that investigation puts money in your hands, Serv Inc. is paid 20 percent of what is recovered. If nothing is recovered, no recovery fee is owed, and the evidentiary record your membership built is still yours.

The Rate
20%

Twenty percent of net recovery, meaning the amount actually paid to you or credited to your account after reimbursement of any third party costs advanced on your behalf. No sliding scale and no minimum.

What Counts

Settlement payments, refunds of unlawfully assessed fees and charges, statutory damages, and the value of any balance reduction, fee waiver, or lien release obtained through the investigation.

What Does Not

Free and Analysis members owe no recovery fee at any time. Attorney fees awarded directly to outside counsel are excluded, as is anything you recover on your own without Serv Inc. involvement.

The recovery fee is disclosed in your Full Service membership agreement before you enroll, is calculated on a written statement delivered with any recovery, and is due within 30 days of funds being released to you. Serv Inc. does not hold client funds, does not take an assignment of your claim, and does not place a lien on your property or your recovery. Serv Inc. is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

What the record showed.
What happened next.

Non-identifying summaries of open Serv Inc. matters. Findings describe what the records showed and have not been decided by a court. Results depend on the facts and the documents, which is why the analysis comes first.

Mortgage · Foreclosure Record · TN Filed in Court
Five gaps in one foreclosure file

The member's home was sold at foreclosure in 2025. Our review found a written request that drew no acknowledgment or answer within the federal deadlines, a substitution of trustee signed without a stated title or attached authority, no recorded assignment although the loan appeared to have been sold into an investment pool, no original note produced on request, and a recorded release of the mortgage still on the title. We routed the findings to three regulators, and the member used the record to file a court challenge.

Auto Loan · Account Dispute · NC In Court
From the lender's complaint line to three regulators

The member disputed their car loan account in 2024. The lender's dispute desk answered without resolving it, and so did its executive office. We documented both responses and routed the record to the federal consumer bureau, a state attorney general and the Better Business Bureau. With that record, the member filed suit as a self-represented party, and the lender's attorneys have responded in the case.

A payoff questioned in writing

A written request drew one response from the servicer, a formal notice of error drew a second, and a payoff statement was produced along the way. Each response went into the record, and the member's sworn statement of the dispute was finalized in June 2026.

The full picture.
In your hands.

The Analysis tier gives self-directed members everything they need to go deep on their own case. The full report does not just summarize findings, it documents specific deficiencies, applies the relevant regulatory standard, and assigns a compliance score to the institution's conduct.

The Self-Analysis Wizard walks you through your own documents step by step, asking the questions an investigator would ask, flagging what matters, and generating a structured PDF summary of your findings. The resource library and video content teach you what the frameworks require and what violations look like in practice.

Right for you if: you want to understand your case fully before deciding on Full Service, you are a researcher or advocate working on behalf of others, or your situation is developing and you want to monitor it over time.

One review.
A written roadmap.

The Expert File Review is a one-time add-on available to Analysis members. A Serv Inc. investigator, not a system, not a template, personally reviews your file: your uploaded documents, your wizard findings, your full analysis report. They deliver a written investigation roadmap and a recorded walkthrough session.

The roadmap tells you what is strong in your case, what needs to be developed, where the clearest path to resolution runs, and whether Full Service investigation is warranted. For many members, the roadmap itself answers the question of what to do next, and for many others, it makes the decision about Full Service straightforward.

Right for you if: you have completed the wizard and want a human perspective, you are deciding between self-service and Full Service, or you want a professional assessment before taking formal action.

What is Included
  • Personal review of your full file by a Serv Inc. investigator
  • Written investigation roadmap: findings, strengths, next steps
  • Recorded walkthrough session
  • Case strength assessment under applicable regulatory frameworks
  • Specific recommendation on Full Service or independent action
  • Delivered within 5–7 business days

A dedicated investigator.
Until it is resolved.

Full Service membership is for members who are ready to pursue resolution actively. You receive a dedicated case manager, one investigator who knows your file, your timeline, and your goals, who works your case from enrollment to resolution. Not a ticket system. Not a rotation. One person accountable for the outcome of your matter.

Service calls are included. Your case manager coordinates document requests, drafts formal notices and affidavits, prepares CFPB and State AG complaints, and manages the private dispute resolution process. The annual option is specifically designed to carry members through the full arc of a complex investigation, and includes a complimentary Expert File Review at enrollment.

Right for you if: you are in active foreclosure or litigation, you have exhausted public channels and need the record pursued for you, or your matter is complex enough to require sustained professional attention.

What is Included
  • Dedicated case manager, one investigator for your case duration
  • Active investigation with documented evidentiary record
  • Formal notice and affidavit drafting
  • QWR coordination, drafting, and response monitoring
  • CFPB and State AG complaint preparation
  • Mediation and arbitration file preparation
  • Service calls included throughout membership
  • Expert File Review included with annual option

Built for organizations
that serve consumers.

The Enterprise track is for organizations that serve the same consumers we do. Housing counseling agencies, attorneys and corporate sponsors refer members into our investigation process, and we refer back when a member needs what they offer. Engagements are scoped one at a time.

We also consult, build training on RESPA, FDCPA and consumer protection frameworks, and develop joint products with partners who want record investigation available to the people they serve.

Use Cases We Support
  • In-network referral partnerships with housing counseling agencies and attorneys
  • Shared-market client referrals
  • Consulting and advisory engagements
  • Custom training on RESPA, FDCPA and consumer protection frameworks
